Eth dag veľkosť 4gb
Some folks running Windows already cannot use 3GB cards. Others should be good until much closer to when the DAG is actually 3GB. I expect that the number of people with 3GB cards that cannot mine will increase next month, when ETH has a DAG of ~2.5GB, and the number will grow through the rest of the year until the DAG breaks 3GB."
Each new block is found in 13 seconds. A single Ethereum epoch is 30,000 blocks and has a size of 8MB. Thus, DAG-file gains 100MB each 2 months. Actual DAG-file size is always available at investoon.com.

What can I do to continue mining? Apr 14, 2020 · We expect 4GB GPU’s to stop mining Ethash coins on 375 epoch approximately (depending on your rig configuration and mining software). It takes 30 000 blocks to change each epoch so 375 epoch starts on block 11 250 000. The current network block height could be found on the main pool page for both Ethereum and Ethereum Classic. AMD’s Radeon RX 470/480 and RX 570/58 with 4GB of video memory can still be used to mine Ethereum (ETH), even though the DAG size is already a bit over 4GB which is more than the video memory available on these GPUs.
Nov 20, 2020 · That will allow to end the use of ASIC and reduce the DAG size to 2.47Gb. 4Gb GPU cards and even 3Gb GPU cards will be able to mine thanks to this update. ECIP 1099 is also called Thanos upgrade and it will arrive in December 2020 when Ethereum Classic blockchain reaches the block 11 700 000 and the epoch 390.
Ethereum's DAG file has entered August 2020 with 3.8GB in size making many 4GB GPUs like popular RX470/480 RX570/580/590 drop hashrate, become unstable, or completely fail mining. The cannot write buffer for dag or cannot allocate big buffer for DAG errors are the most common results of the increased DAG file. Starting from epoch 382 (December 16), all 4GB GPUs will stop mining the cryptocurrency. The problem is the gradually increasing DAG file size.
28 ноя 2020 Механизм DAG повышает устойчивость Ethash к ASIC-майнерам, постоянный рост DAG препятствует крупным вложениям в
This means that GPUs with 3 GB or less VRAM cannot mine it anymore. 3 GB GPUs were only able to mine Ethereum up to the 14th of May. Ethereum’s DAG will reach a 4 GB mark on 23th of December 2020 (block 11,519,999). The AMD drivers for Radeon video cards have a limit on the maximum file size of 4Gb, respectively, the same 4Gb restriction also applies to DAG files created in the memory of DAG video cards when mining Ethereum cryptocurrency.
All you need is a PC with a GPU (Nvidia/AMD) of 4GB minimum as Ethereum heavily relies on memory usage while the core processor sits idle. You'll also need a miner and an Ethereum address to receive your mining reward. Feb 08, 2021 · The “Zombie Mode” for mining Ethereum on 4GB AMD Radeon RX 470/480 and RX 570/580 GPUs had them brought back from the dead (hence the name) after the DAG size has reached the capacity of their video memory. Using it you can still not only mine ETH, but still make a nice profit doing so,… Dec 12, 2020 · New kernels for AMD Vega and Navi GPUs that are slightly faster when the DAG buffer is approaching or passing 4GB in size (the current ETH DAG is close to 4GB). To use these new kernels, you need to use drivers 20.5.1 or later under Win10, or 20.10.x or later under Linux Every ETH holder should consider staking as a way to put their ETH holdings to work. The staking reward rate is expected to range between 2% and 20%, and 32 ETH is required to spin up a validator. Staking pools offer a solution for those who want to stake other amounts.
We are getting closer and closer to the moment when the 382 era in Ethereum mining will come, which means that the DAG file will increase to 4Gb and all video cards with this amount of video memory will be forced to leave Ethereum mining forever. DAG-file, blocks, and epochs. Each new block is found in 13 seconds. A single Ethereum epoch is 30,000 blocks and has a size of 8MB. Thus, DAG-file gains 100MB each 2 months. Actual DAG-file size is always available at investoon.com. Need some help?
3GB cards are the minimum right now; the vast majority of cards on the network are 4GB+ Btw, if you're thinking of new cards a 4GB should (should) carry you to the end of practical mining on eth with no buffer issues. An epoch change takes place every 30000 blocks and leads to an increase in size of the DAG file by 8 MB. Ethash cryptocurrencies are mined using NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards and also the ASIC miners. For Ethereum 3GB GPU memory is already not enough as it could not store the DAG file. 4GB or more GPU memory is required to mine ETH. What to do if your 4GB GPU isn’t mining Ethereum on HiveOS Crypto Economics , Ethereum , Mining , Proof of Work , Uncategorized / By Kelly House Ethereum’s DAG size will exceed 4GB before the end of the year (as if 2020 could get any worse) and that means as much as 60% of the cards currently mining will no longer be able to mine ETH. Hold on to your ETH hats: you will still be able to cash in on the ETH mining craze for a while. However, you should look towards your 3 GB and 4 GB graphics cards with a slight distrust, for reasons that you should know, anyway, since you have surely studied your mining cryptocurrency of choice.
Since ETH is slowly approaching 4GB DAG size and ETC already exceeded it, 4GB GPUs have troubles mining these two coins. ETC is planning a fork at block 11,700,000 , which will decrease the DAG size, but since this is scheduled for the end of November, you might wonder what to do in the meantime. Aug 06, 2020 · Solution for the cards with 4GB memory capacity The solution described above for 3GB cards is also suitable for 4GB cards. That is, you can simply switch to another coin with a suitable DAG-file Partial snip of the 8.15.2020 livestream, hosted on twitch. During this livestream I attempt to cover what to do with your 4GB GPUs given the reality that Et Aug 06, 2020 · DAG-file, blocks, and epochs. Each new block is found in 13 seconds. Ex 1/1/2020 This moment will be on block 6,750,000 when the DAG size will reach 2.92GB. Thus, owners of 3GB GPUs need to know that their cards will stop mining Eth at some moment between November 12 and November 13, 2018. In other words, GPUs with 3GB of RAM will be mining Eth for another 13.5 months after the Byzantium update.

The latest PhoenixMiner 5.0b update adds support for mining with AMD 4GB cards after the DAG 350 era (ETC is now at # 349, ETH at # 338). Depending on the OS version and drivers that you are using with this update, you may be able to use AMD 4GB GPUs before the era of # 372- # 373 for Windows and # 380 for Linux. The current ETC DAG is 195 instead of 390, with corresponding “shrinking” of the DAG buffer to about 2.5 GB. With this DAG size you will be able to mine with 3GB and 4GB cards without problems.
I have found a way. Only a temporary fix, as the death of 4gb GPU's on ETH is inevitable.. it can still however be stretched/delayed a little. ;) So.. this is how i did it. Oct 15, 2017 · This moment will be on block 6,750,000 when the DAG size will reach 2.92GB.
